A special thanks to Karl for letting me visit and taking the time to show me his wonderful Keokuk Geode collection. Karl has been a rock collector since the 1960's. He started collecting with his family and friends for fun, but it soon turned into a fixation. You rockhounds now what that's like. His passion is fossils; hunting, cleaning and preparing them. Along the way he took time to dig up some fine geodes as well. Karl's growing need to display his museum quality fossil collection has limited his space for geodes. It's all in one display case. Not to worry, it's one case envied by many area geode collectors. All of Karl's geodes have something extraordinary about them. ENJOY.
