A special thanks to Norm and his wife for letting me visit and taking the time to show me their wonderful Keokuk Geode collection. Norm has been collecting geodes in the Keokuk area since 1965. He knows what to look for and where to find them. It takes a lot of practice and a special touch (x-ray vision) to open these geodes in the perfect spot for the best possible display. It amazes me how he opened some of these specimens without damaging any of the large secondary crystals. He has a huge collection and these are the pieces I was able to photograph during my visit. ENJOY.
