Attention Geode Fest Participants!!

We ask that you please DO NOT shop at/or support Site Food Mart and Gas Station 1301 Main St, Keokuk, IA or Smoker's Outlet on route 136 in Alexandria, MO. These two businesses recently refused service to our US Military (men and women) who stopped in to shop. The owners sited some unacceptable reasons, from anyone living in this great nation, as to why they wouldn't serve them.

Review Geode Fest 2009

"It's a Wrap"

We celebrated our 5th Annual Geode Fest this year and it was another great event.We had nearly 600 participants and hundreds of 5-gallon bucket of geodes were collected. The states of Illinois and Missouri are now a few tons lighter after all the geodes that were collected found new homes across the country. The geodes ranged in size from BB size up to 180 pounds, and from solid to very hollow. The geode hunters came in from California to Massachusetts, and many states between. We even had some visitors from Canada to share in this fun, family event. Pictures express a thousand words so I'll be posting pictures from Geode Fest '09 as they arrive.
